Developmental Psychologist, Author, & Mother
Dr. Erin Richman has passion for the power of learning and partnership. Richman is a native Floridian and currently resides in Jacksonville Beach with her family. Her latest passion has been a work of heart. Mary Blair Destiny reveals the true story of a baby's incredible entry to this world, nearly-forgotten. She ultimately forged her way in this world leaving a legacy of strength, resilience, and determination. The baby grew to become the matriarch of her own tribe, which includes Erin and her very large clan of cousins.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida and University of Georgia, she has her Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. in Psychology with concentration in girls' self-concept development... she still longs for the days of arguing with her professors and examining thousands of cells of psychosocial data! Among her career achievements, she was the first Presidential Fellow at FSCJ, and also launched the office of Academic Partnerships & Initiatives at her alma mater, the University of Georgia. Now, she continues to fulfill her passion by cultivating growth and harnessing strengths in others, leading at FSCJ and still teaching psychology to students each semester.
